mate i hate to break this to you - but i dont think there is anything called " taking passport back while processing is going on"
i think processing has already been completed, its just that passport have to be stamped.

if i understand correctly - you can take passport back (like in an emergency situation) however i dont think your processing will keep going on, it will be on hold till you resubmit it... and if it crosses the 30 day deadline with london VO gave us... then God help us... i dont want to take a chance
What do you mean here by the 30 days deadline?you mean the deadline for giving the passports to vo?

Hi Friends...Is there Anyone who had submitted their Passports directly to CA Embassy Abudhabi via Aramex ?
I had submitted my Passports on 27th July but still no updates yet !!
Can anyone figure out how many more days it'll take to deliver the PP back ?
31st of july, nothing yet i am wondering if we are going to recieve ours at the same time

Hi Guys,

Quick question.

Currently my express entry profile is on na2 stage and I will be changing job next month, so I was wondering do I need to inform cic of this change as I am working in UAE so my passport will show change of visa and I am worried if I keep quiet then at the time of passport submission they will see this and I wanted to know if I keep quiet or inform them ?

Please advise as this question is killing me.

Regards,
Ameer

i think its always advisable to keep updating your profile in the website, it wouldn't hurt to do so (it wont affect your CRS points). Plus its always better to be clear and honest in your application, you know they ask the same questions in several times in different occasions and its not good to have contradictions in these questions. this is what i think

Some already passed their 3 weeks mark and didnt recieve their passports yet

At the rate things are going, its looks like we might end up being 'permanent' residents in UAE. ;)

you cannot "update" your profile after AOR stage... any changes you make need to be informed via CSE

no need to inform IRCC regarding change in job. Only major changes like marital status change, change in resident country, contact details that sort of thing need to be informed - not change in job.

I don't think u can even get into the embassy if you don't have an appointment scheduled by them.. if u r just coming to follow up they won't even let u in.

What about people who applied vfs, cant they let vfs inquire about the delay?

I tried, VFS provide the same advice 15-30 days, and that they have no control over the processing times of the embassy. VFS only just moves the documents to and from the embassy, much like what Aramex does.

Exactly.. VFS can't do a thing!
