They send emails and in most cases do not even update CIC account till after u land.

Hi guys
I must say that I have learnt so much from everyone here and its so nice to know that there are people like myself who are going through similar issues with canadian immigration especially pertaining to spousal support visa applications.

I submitted my wife's spousal visa application on Aug 12, 2016 and file transferred to Accra Sept 28. 2016.

I got the email today asking my wife to do the medicals and also to submit the police report for both Nigeria and UK. I had submitted the Nigeria police report when i sent the application package in August last year but the UK was sent through the web form a few months later, however they are asking for both again. Since my wife hasnt returned to UK after we received the UK police report, we will resend the one we have. For the Nigeria police report, we will go get a new one as its more than a year since we had the last one. Medicals will be booked very soon. Medicals was not submitted when i sent the application package in Aug last year so we are going to do it now as we've been expecting this request for more than a year now.

I am so happy with this great news as my family, similar to others here, has been hurting and its so amazing to say that the end is near for us.
