Same here, I got PPR on July 18th, and mailed my passport out on the same day, its been four weeks since I mailed, and three weeks since they received it. Nothing happened yet... Well, at least we are not alone.

I'm BC PNP inland. AOR Jan 12th. I can't even travel cuz I literally have no passport in hand for a good month....

probably the slowest printer in the world.

no they are probably using a pen and paper to draw the CoPR... useless people at visa offices... urgh

so frustrating to be stuck at the last hurdle... my passports been stuck for 17 days.

Hello everybody, wishing you all speedy Visa stamping

I have received my PPR 3 weeks ago and sent passports to Local Visa Office same day. Unfortunately and till the moment, they didn't sent the passport back stamped with VISA.

After emailing LVO asking for passport status, they called me over the phone and informed me that there is still final approval missing from Canada and they could only check with CIC side if approval delayed for more than 3 months !!

I have called CIC call center and sent emails to Ottawa and CIO to check this final approval, they told me that the file is totally handled by LVO and they couldn't help on this.

Now, I have stuck in this strange status, any reason behind this huge delay stamping the passports?

How did you manage to contact CIO? Is there an e-mail? If yes, could you please kindly share!

Guys just received my PPR!

It has been a very long journey to reach this point and all I can say is that no matter how long and an arduous process we go through, the PPR eventually ends on your doorstep

I wish you all luck and keep the positive spirit - you will all get there.

Gentlemen, did anybody called 0016139444000 from outside canada and got an answer???
i am calling daily since weeks and every time i have message saying they are experiencing a high volume of calls and they cut me off.

please help me if there is any other way to contact them,
i raised a CSE since 3 weeks and no reply, i sent email to cic and they dont even send the dontreply email confirmation anymore.

thanks for your reply, i ordered the notes 3 times already, and it shows everything has been done and the file has been transferred to security screening on 12 April, the last notes show 4 activities of security screening with blank comments.probably they hide it.
this is the last update i have since June.

thats the case neither cse nor calling the cic is gonna help. ss takes time and you have tk wait it out just like me and countless others on this forum.

very very disappointing, the life projects depending on that. specially if they reject it after all.

any idea how much the SS takes? what is the trend here?

ss has got no trend. one year on average
