Singapore-COC appeal

In my understanding, we have to wait until the application is approved and then go take our fingerprints (in Singapore or overseas, depends on where you reside) and mail the below documents to SPF COC office:

- fingerprints
- e-COC application confirmation
- payment receipt
- photos
- passport copy and letter of authorization (if you are using a proxy)

Anyone can confirm this is the right process?

I have only sent the fingerprints and e-COC application confirmation. These two documents were mentioned in the email that I received from SPF.
Where do you get the requirement for photos / passport copy?

My COC timeline:
04-Aug Submit e-Appeal
08-Aug 6:47pm Appeal approved
08-Aug 10:00pm Submit COC
09-Aug 6:37pm COC approved (Holiday)
06-Sep Fingerprint appointment (the earliest as of 09-Aug)

Hi all

That could be useful to whoever is asking for a Singapore PCC via a proxy (person you know and works there) based in Singapore: I just spoke (again) to the police department over the phone and they are quite strict on the letter of authorization you have to provide in order for your friend to be able to pick up the PCC.

In my understanding, it must contain your FIN number/passport number, the exact period of stay for which you are requiring the PCC, your friend's FIN/NRIC number and passport number, COC application reference number, dated/signed (not electronically signed).

This is just my experience, but I believe it's worth sharing.

So Should I send the fingerprint to my friend along with the authorization letter?or send it to the police department?
Do I need scan my passport and FIN number to my proxy and attach them on the letter?

You can send directly to the police department, however it will take longer for you to receive the PCC (they will mail it to your country of residence).

Or you can mail (not email) all below documents to your proxy in Singapore and upon reception, he walks-in SPF office and request your COC. SPF will deliver it on the spot (apparently 30mn wait) and you friend can scan it/send to you so you have a copy immediately that you can upload in IRCC system. Your friend can then arrange to mail the PCC to you, which is not so urgent.

oH what?But I chose"by proxy"on the online application, and now they're just waiting for the fingerprints to arrive.I thought when the COC result is out, the SPF will email me and let me know that my proxy can pick it up.isnt that the way?

Maybe this works too.. to be honest this process is a mess.

What I described is my experience only and what I got from my calls with SPF officer.

OOo I see, so should I send my fingerprints directly to my friend then?
and is it singaporean Passport size? or canadian passport size for the photos?

I can't tell you what to do but would advise you to call SPF and ask what will work best for your case. For photos, I sent the usual 35x45mm.

Hi Guys,
So I just went to get my fingerprint.The fingerprint guy told me that Singaporean COC is the worst.Their police force just tend to ignore request and they tend not to even send your result on mail or even lose it.Any thoughts about this?

Humm I am just worried, because u mentioned it will take longer because it has to be sent to my canadian adress, but on the online application I chose"By Proxy" i assumed you did the same steps as I did?

Wait, if you chosed by proxy, then your friend will pick the certificate up for you right?
