How many days were you physically present? Congrats!

Just as an FYI, I received my card today, so the mailing time to Toronto area was 3 business days.

I was only away 13 days over the previous 5 year period
Congrats Dear,
Why you didnt apply for the citizenship directly ?

Cost, mostly. Also, I hadn't fully investigated all of the implications pertaining to dual citizenship until recently. We are refinancing this year and will have some money from that, so citizenship and a motorcycle license. :-)

This is incredible... I don't understand how you sent yours 2 days after mine was received and I only just heard that mine was "received".

I have not been able to find my application in the system.

I travelled to the States at the weekend, luckily yhe lady at the border was really nice: "Have you applied for a new card?" I said "Yes, I have all the docs here, do you want to see them?" and she replied "No, I trust you"

Gotta love Canada :)

still nothing in the system, this is such a horrible experience. I'm pretty confident that I am going to get it because I lived outside Canada with my Canadian wife, that is undisputable, but the lack of information and response from IRCC is really worrying.

My company wants me to travel for work but I keep saying I cannot. Advice online is to send another application with "urgent" in it, but my company won't book flights without the PR card, because it's a cost risk and because then there's no guarantee I will get my card early, nor will I be able to stay out of the country long enough to apply for PRTD...

I just don't understand why the same set of documents got sent for PRTD and those were processed and my passport sent back within 2 weeks, yet it has been 63 days and still no application in the system (unless they count those days as "work days" in which case it is 44 days)

Still, this is unbelievable.

Random. I got an email that my card is ready at the local office. They're going to contact me when I can pick it up.

Nothing in the system but the card is ready. Wierd.

Hi everyone, did you all include the passport all pages copies in the application? Stupid me did not include the passport page copies... It is not listed on the check list and I thought they will check in their system anyway since I indicated "yes" in the application form. Now i'm worried after reading all the postings and the timeline.... I do not have the case number or on-line status by now. I called the cic and the agent told me the "primary identification" on the checklist means the passport, which I treated as the copy of the existing PR card.... He also said the only way is to wait for the officer asking for additional documents..... Anyone has the similar situation? Is there anyway I can submit/mail the additional documents to them?
