FBI Clearance

I have received our MR yogether with additional document request for FBI Clearance. I did not secure one prior to submission as I was not aware that I need one if I have accumulate stay of 6 mos within the last 10 years. I thought you need one only if you have stayed in the US for above 6 mos in a single stay. Anyone who have experienced being issued an FBI Clearance for an accumulated stay of 6 mos only?

Yes, thousands of applicants. This rule has been in place since 2016. It is always now for accumulated stays of over 6 months.

If you are in Manila, PNP Camp Crame can take fingerprints for FBI clearances.

Thanks. I hae received the request for fbi clearance last 7th. Have sent FBI my documents last 10th but in thw website it says 10-12 weeks processing period. Any idea if cic is giving consideration on this? I am only given until 21dt of sept to uload the document.

Yes they do. Send them the receipt and tell them when you are expected to receive it.
