No.. I haven't received any update. I had applied online and it's in Delhi VAC.
No i did not attach financial proof, just my employment letter here in Canada
Hi Folks,
I am here in Canada on TRV and applied for Open work permit depending upon my wife work permit. It has been applied on 5th June 2017 but there is no update on it.
On checking the site it is showing 72 days processing time, can some one recently applied for open work permit from inside canada and whats the timeline?
Also as I am already in Canada and have the Tourist visa stamped on my Passport do the stamping will be done again or I will just receive the Work authorization letter.
Any feedback will be highly appreciated!

From where have you applied, and online or paper based?
Because on CIC it shows that they have processed till May 23rd
Thanks for the reply. It frustrating to just wait and not know what's happening. I guess you can still check for updates online. Processing time is 11 weeks now.
