Hi, is anyone who applied this year for quebec regular skilled worker still waiting?

If so, let's share experience. Please.

I applied may this year (2017) and still waiting for the them to ask for documents.

Is anyone else under the same situation?

Also, my company decided to sponsor me a work permit since the current one will expire soon (Feb 28)

Does anyone know how long does the work permit sponsorship actually take?
The law firm hired by my company to take care of the process said it would take only 5 months to get me a sponsored work permit but I don't believe so. If anyone had a similar experience and would like to share or would like to advise me about something. Please, do it. I much appreciate, really.

You could send me a private message if you find it more appropriate.

Regards.

I applied on Mon Project on May 18th 2017. Too soon for any news.

I think that law firm is right, because my employer sponsored my work permit while I was in US on H1B. The entire process took around 4 months. They had to do LMIA and then apply for CAQ and then temporary work permit for me when I was in the US. You are currently working here, so maybe it will be faster.
