Hi, @legalfalcon

My file is at NDVO now for over 2 weeks now. As NDVO is reluctant to provide any status update, can I write to CPC Ottawa pretending to know about my visa office (in a hope they may provide some update like in queue for officer's review or any new information). Or is it just a waste of time? I have ordered notes and will receive in a fortnight.

Sorry if this question sounds stupid to you.
Thanking you in advance.

You can surely try, no harm. But if your application is already at NDVO, then you should have cleared eligibility. If you have concerns, get GCMS notes.

Dear Legal Falcon,

I have a 15 days gap in my employment history in the last 10 years. But it is in the same month.

In my personal history, it is asking for month and year only and if it is calculated in this way i don't have a gap.

If they are calculating days there is a gap.

Will there be a problem?
No need to worry. You can add a LoE and explain that you had a gap of 15 days, even if you do not add a LoE, there is no need to be concerned .

My timeline is as below.

April-2006 to July 2007
July-2007 to Jan 2009
Feb-2009 to June 2015
July-2015 till present

TIA

Hi @legalfalcon
My recent gcms notes arrived it has the following notes which was update May 25th. Analyst did not acknowledge points for PA work exp and spouse.
What can be the reason. Since then no doc request and nothing and they have blacked out the rest of the notes.
Now 1st page has Eligibility -Review req Security NS Due date- 15 August.

RECOMMENDATION: REVIEW REQUIRED M12 O/E ASSOCIATED: EMPLOYER A11.2 REVIEW REQUIRED R87.1 MIN REQ-REV REQ. OUTSTANDING DOC(NOT REQUESTED)

The eligibility note states "Review required." This is because your CRS score is going below

CRS SCORE AT ITA 459 MIN. SCORE-459
SCORE AT APR:459
VERIFIED SCORE:406

This could be due to them not taking into account your work ex. The file will be reviewed by an officer, who will make a final determination. So order another GCMS in a few days and see if that has the final eligibility note. If the CRS is an issue, you can raise a CSE and inform them that your work ex has not been counted.

Hello legalfalcon, thanks a lot for your response. Regarding the fingerprints, this is for PCC from Bahrain. I had called the CID there and they said fingerprints from nearest police station. But I have seen first hand how inefficient these people here are, so wanted to reconfirm with someone here. Would it be better to check again with CID Bahrain?

If they specify that they need it only from the police agency in India, then you will have to do that. Alternatively, ask CID if you could use a private agency.

Hi Legalfaction, would request if you can reply to PM

I will get back to you. I am going in order and as soon as I get a chance, I will revert back.

Hello @legalfalcon should i upload my current passport only or the previous ones as well. If i only upload the current one and they want to see the previous ones as well, will they reject my application or send me an ADR?

You are only required your current passport. However, if you have arrival and departure stamps, visas in the old passport, you should include the old one too. If not, no need.

Help kindly. @legalfalcon
I think i messed up my Permanent Residency application under express entry. Here are the details:
NOC- 3131 (PHARMACIST)
Self employed work- Mar 01, 2016 to May 30, 2016 ( company needed time to put me on payroll)
Payroll work- May 31, 2016 to present ( same company for self employed and payroll work)
I made up a profile under express entry on May 15, 2017 as I was nearing my eligibility and the self employed work does not count. MY CRS score is 483. I received invitation to apply in 2 days.

Not realising i was still 2 weeks short of my 1 year experience when i received my ITA and just considering the invitation sent to me and the points allocated, I received and accepted ITA on May 17 ( Cut off was 415).

I applied for Permanent Residency on June 16th, 2017 under CEC CATEGORY and received AOR JUNE 16, 2017. I submitted all my payrolls from May 31,2016 to June 15, 2017 with my application. No updates on my profile yet. It is just now i am reading all these posts here and realising my error. I made an honest mistake as i didnt consult any lawyer or anybody else. I am still working with the same company as a pharmacist and can provide all proofs for my employment. I am just worried what can i do next? Is there a way i can accept my mistake and withdraw my file and reapply? Or to send a letter of explanation anyhow?

Thank You.
Regards.

Hello legalfalcon, my current passport is brand new and has no stamps, all of them are in older ones and I have 4 of them. Should i scan all pages of all of them and submit, post ITA?

Yes and notes are from May 25 after that no further updates. They are not counting my spouse's and my work exp. nothing has been mentioned tgat what are the red glags for. If i had any clue I would have raised CSE. Any thoughts?

I would like to add to it a little bit if you dont mind. I have stamps from a country where i lived before turning 18 in a passport that expired 15 years ago. Should i include visa stamps when i was a minor as well?

What if someone uploads the biographical data page of the current valid passport, which contains the number of the old passport. Along with all visa stamps in the current as well as expired passports. I am asking because one of my friends has submitted his application like this.

Dear Legalfalcon,

Request help.

The following additional documents have been requested from me. My AOR is 7th July.

Myself: Principle Applicant:-

1. Passport/Travel Document: Please provide a copy of a passport or travel document that is valid for at least 6 months. Please provide a copy of your previous and most recent passports - Though I had uploaded my earlier passport and current passport during application submission
2. Client Information: Please provide a copy of your ECA report. - This also I had uploaded earlier
3. Birth registration/certificate: Please provide a copy of your birth registration/certificate. - This is most tricky! I do not have birth certificate. In India, 10th marksheet is considered to be the proof of age.
Please suggest what can be done in this situation. And why would they be asking for birth certificate.

Dependent Applicant-

1. Birth registration/certificate: Please provide a copy of your birth registration/certificate. - Same situation here. Don't have birth certificate. Please suggest an alternative solution
2. Passport/Travel Document: Please provide a copy of a passport or travel document that is valid for at least 6 months. - Though I had uploaded my husband's earlier passport and current passport during application submission
3. Client Information: Please provide a copy of your ECA report. - This also we had uploaded earlier

Anyway, passport and ECA I will upload again. However, please help what can I do for birth certificate. Just have 7 days in hands.

Thanks and kind regards,
