Legal advice would be a waste of money. Your options have been fully laid out for you here. A lawyer can't tell you anything different unless they tell you something wrong, which happens often.


Keep in mind also that adding a spouse as an accompanying dependent may affect your EE points. Some people find they don't qualify with an accompanying spouse, and are forced to include as non-accompanying to sponsor them later.
The CRS score is only recalculated if changes happen before e-APR. .

Ok coolio you have been a great help too. Will talk it over with her. We will get married in a non-traditional manner (no I'm not from the East either lol) and just explain our situation (since I have seen others do it) before any ppr is issued and add her to my file. Like you all said better to do it now than later.

I understand the angle you're coming from but that seems kind of sketchy. Furthermore, I don't think it would be as challenging as I though either.
