I received an email from CIC on July 27, 2017 that they have received my application to sponsor a family member, and asked PA to link her application to an online account. Application was linked the same date and we still haven't heard anything else from their end.

The letter to PA stated that if the application is not linked to an online account within 7 Calendar days then they will send the request for additional documents through email, and it's been almost 2 weeks now.

Any suggestions .. should I call CIC or wait for now?

We applied in april . We send our application and we paid the fee online on 24th april . On june 5th we came to know that , the CIC has send back our application .

On 20th june we send our application again. Till now I am done with the medical , police clearance ans Schedule A .

I wanted to know that am I an april applicant or a june applicant ? I mean since we paid the fee in April , doesnt that mean our process has started from april ?

Hi Guys,
Quick q's. Is linking the application mandatory? can they communicate with email if needed? It's absolute nightmare for last 5 days that I have tried to link my application. Finally got hold off CIC agent and he says be patient it may take a while as he does not have any reason why I cannot link my application at this moment. And he says linking is not mandatory as they could still communicate through email. I'm wondering if not linking might make things slower? I appreciate your thoughts!

You are a June applicant. In ECAS, it says "We received your application on [DATE]". That's the date.

For the Schedule A and PCC, Do the sponsor too have to fill up and sent his or is it only for PA?
Another question,
since they are asking for the Birth certificate proof again, As the birth was registered late, they want the following
Birth and/or baptism certificate Note: If the birth is registered late, include the original baptism certificate and other original documents establishing identity such as:
• old school records (Fifth class, Middle standard and Matriculation certificate), and
• Voter’s ID card.
Has anyone dealt with this issue and what was submitted as I do not have a Baptism certificate and I do not think 5th and Middle standard shows and DOB. Only the 10th certificate does.?
Please advise

can anyone tell me how to submit pcc and SCHEDULE A electronically.
My application is already linked to cic account. I have both things in separate PDF.
how can i submit it?

How long does it take to get PA email about AOR after SA getting AOR and also to link application and Schedule A and PCC request?

I am a Sponsor and got AOR on Aug 5th. I have linked PA account online.

I have a question.. My husband birth was registered late. With original application I submitted, an affidavit from his parents, 10th and 12th class certificates. Now they have requested Birth Certificate. We do a have a birth certificate now... So do I just submit the birth certificate or the other documents requests which apply if birth certificate is registered late.. (baptism certificate (which we dnt have), original school certificates)
Please let me know.

me too have the same issue........ i plan to give the Birth Certificate with the 10th certificate along with Voter ID card......
