Medical timelines are now slowly reducing. It has reduced from 62 - 65 to about 59 to 62 over the last 10 days. Hopefully it will keep reducing!

People are calling just because of pure impatience and panic, which is natural of course. They get some reply and it gives them peace of mind.
In earlier groups people used to call less as they mostly waited for average timelines. The June/July group has gone real impatient due to some candidates being issued quick PPRs and hence everyone wants some update, so people trying different ways to extract some information from CIC. Its just how our human mind works. Patience is a rare virtue.

Now to your question, I assume from your timeline that your file is at Ottawa office, which indicates most likely it is approved. 15 days in IP2 is normal, so no worries here. Also CIC is issuing PPRs a bit late even to approved applications these days, taking 30 days also from IP2, nothing to worry here it is the new norm now. I suggest you do not call them before 20 days in IP2. You are at a good stage, why bother them unnecessarily.
Application is going great my friend, enjoy this moment, your golden e-mail is arriving for sure, take my word for it:):):)
I dont call them wrong. When their is a skewed matrix of some getting the PPR in 30 days....and when their is no update/progress in the profile, it is a natural. The main reason is it is a life changing decision. No one wants to be in limbo when it comes to the family.

The status has not changed since then. It's going to be almost a month since NA2. Any cause for concern given the clip at which other applications are being processed?
Nothing to be concerned of. 30-45 Days in Na2 is very normal.

I sent an email to the local Bangalore, India, Visa office, to check on my Visa Office location. Is that okay? By the looks of it, it seems like the applications are being handled by Canadian offices. Is there a different email that I should use? Is there a contact no. specific for EE FSW-O applications?
You can send a mail to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca for your Visa Office.

Also, I'm planning to order GCMS if I don't receive an update by next weekend. Is that fine?
No harm in ordering GCMS notes. Hopefully, you will receive your PPR by the time you get your notes, but still you get a good insight on processing of your application.

Hope that helps.
