july applicants for sept. 2017 intake discussion thread

I have applied for sept intake on July 10th at Chennai VFS. How do I link my paper based application to mycic account. When I am searching for my application in mycic account, it is showing that, no results found. Are there any specific combinations to enter while searching for application?.. Kindly help

got any response ??? I am also waiting and applied at Chennai on july 19

Embassy doesn't need them as these are already asked by the University and when you complete all the required documents to get your final offer of admission it's considered as complete by CHC.

I applied on 11th july paper application through Chennai VFS...and linked to online...no update yet

same here brother...applied at chennai VSF on 19th july ....no update so far..what abt u ??

guys my visa was refused on 4 August but there was an update
We are reviewing the additional documents you have provided (i haven't provided any additional document). Moreover, Final Decision was refused on 4 August but now it's blank. Even i tracked my file with Tracking number, it's still showing that Visa application, tracking ID No.xxxxxxxxxxxxxx5972 is being processed at the Canada Visa Office, CHANDIGARH,.To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website.
I am totally confused now what's happening.

I have done a diploma in event management from Mumbai and I alhad applied for event and media production course. My work experience in event management was also submitted in my documents. I do no understand what makes them take a decision when the college has given an admission and also when I have paid my semester and gic. I had applied for the SPP and I don't know the criteria of what they look for a SPP profile.

Sad to here that bro, one of my friends also got a rejection. you should reapply bro and what was your direct update in cic account. no medical update and eligibility ? direct rejection?

Got three mails of acknowledgement till now but the application still under process
Applied on 18th july@ new delhi
1st mail of UID and application no. on 26th july
2nd mail says we are processing and proceeding normally on 2nd aug
3rd mail says we are still processing your application thanku for your patience on 9th aug
Online status remain same as it was before no change
I dont know how much time they need its very difficult to be patient expecting visa approval rest god knows
