If under activity it says new value: Not started, Updated Date: XXXX/XX/XX it actually went to CSIS on that Date.I will definitely post an update here. Last note the security screening wasn't started yet...

Hey,Hi guys;
It's an update from me I just received an email from Vienna to send an updated schedule a background declaration so they can finalise our application.
Do anybody know how long from this to DM and PPR?
They refer to schedule A for security check. I don't know if they have already started your security check or they are going to start it now. So not really clear if it is a sign of getting DM soon but lets hope so. At least they are actively working on your file since May. If they just start security screening again it can just be a one day job or if they send it for intensive security screening and to CSIS it can be a 8-9 month process.Hi guys;

That is amazing news! Congratulations!!!! The process time was around 7 month - that is fastHi All,
Very excited and happy to say I got DM today (approved)
Received an email alert to check my status and ECAS says decision made and MyCIC says approved.
Hope you all get a DM soon as well

Thank you, sorry to hear it is taking so long for you. It doesn't seem fair that some applications get approved a lot faster than others. Looking at the forum it is very hit and miss. I am very lucky and grateful to be approved this quickly. Mine was a spousal application, the husband and our two children are Canadian citizens, perhaps that is why mine went faster? Hope you get decision made soon and wishing you good luck in CanadaCongrats,
Today one year of waiting the federal part and still didnt got DM. Dont know what to do.
I see they requested medical almost 2 months after they started processing your app, and that after medical was passed you got DM pretty fast. I uploaded my PCC and Schedule A and am now awaiting medical request, hope after thats done i will also get DM fast. Anyway, congratulations!Thank you, sorry to hear it is taking so long for you. HiHi everyone,
I'm not an applicant to this visa office, I just have a question for a friend. They are October 2016 common law applicants from the Netherlands. What is the average processing time for them, based on people's recent experience? Thanks!
It depends how they access your case, average processing time of this office after receiving the AOR is 8 months.Hi everyone,

Hi
Mine was a spousal application from Netherlands I used new forms and took nearly 7 months as you can see in my signature
Great! Thanks for your replies! Another question, have you found that your visa office has slowed down over the past couple of months? Some others are saying the summer has kind of effected processing times.It depends how they access your case, average processing time of this office after receiving the AOR is 8 months.
