Visa refused but status update

Hello,
My visa was refused on 4 August. Reason for the refusal is Other Reasons :
Given your academic performance, your language ability in specific bands and considering your proposed course of study, your travel history and ties to your home country, I am not satisfied you would be a bona fide student and a temporary resident.

But yesterday there was a update that : The additional documents you provided are being reviewed. Is this normal or there is ray of hope for me?

no way, its refused, and why did u choose this particular course and college..
I suggest you go for university in Quebec as u are having French certification..
