Hi,

I applied PR from Canada and my PR is in progress under CEC(I have submitted all documents 1 month back). Due to an emergency situation myself and my family had to travel to India. I came back to Canada already and my family (Wife and Kid) will be back only after 2 or 3 months.

1) Should I inform CIC that I travelled to India and came back(it was just for 5 days)?

2) Since my family will be travelling back only after 2 or 3 months what should I do with their profile? Should I update anything?

Can anyone please advise?

After AOR you are free to travel anywhere. No need to inform or update the profile.

No, does not matter, unless your wife is the Principal Applicant and has points for a valid job offer...
