Medical Exam w.r.t PPR, COPR and Landing

What happens if application gets approved but COPR gets delayed and medical examination expires during this time. Will IRCC ask applicant to go for fresh medical examination before issuing COPR or will issue COPR and then before landing, they will make this mandatory to send clear medical report to IRCC ?

In the similar fashion, what happens if case gets approved, you get your COPR and before landing your 1 year of medical exam expires? Do you need to go for medical before landing or it's not required after COPR gets issued?

As far as i know, you have to land within 1 year of your medical exam regardless of when you received your copr. It doesnt matter if the delay was due to longer application processing time or you took longer to land.

Not true. If your application is still being processed 1-2 months before your medicals expire, IRCC will either a) extend your medicals if you're inland or a) request new ones if you're outland. Mine were expiring on July 28th, 2017 yet my CoPR and visa are valid till March 2018.

As I mentioned before, you'll be asked to redo your medicals if and when they're about to expire. Your CoPR will be valid for as long as your new medicals are valid.

Clarification: I meant he had land within 1 year of his medical exams without redoing his medicals.

I am in kind of same situation, My current status is IP2 (AOR 29 July 2017), my medicals are expiring on 18th Feb 2018.
CIC requested for RPRF on 11th Jan 2018, which I paid on same day. Now, neither is got PPR nor new medical request. So, can somebody help me to understand what could be the possible cause of the same? What should i expect in coming days, how much time it can take to PPR, & also if they requested for RPRF, should i assume I through all the checks? Please share, if anyone has knowledge about the same. Thanks
