Seeking Asylum Canada help

What if I take the journey on foot into Canada? Can I apply for asylum? What if I got caught by a patrol after I'm in? Will they deport me?

yes from the US. no i do not have family in Canada

Safe third country would probably apply. You would likely be sent back to the US as you would need to claim asylum there.

Do you mean cross the border illegally at an unmanned part? If so, this is illegal so you would be detained upon being caught by CBSA, but ultimately the asylum claim would be heard..

However many people attempt this, although it's not recommended. You are expected to claim asylum in the US if you're already there.
