Hello Guys,

I would like to know the success rate of getting selected in Mon Projet Quebec. I have filled the online form but din't pay the fees(CAD 779) yet cause I am not sure of my chances in getting selected in this draw ? I have read that 5000 applications are received in every draw but I don't know how many of them are actually selected. I DON'T have any work experience or education certificate from Quebec but I do have Bachelors degree and currently working since last 3 years. Can someone please guide me about this so I can make up my mind and take decision.

Many thanks in advance

It's simple. As of now, if you pass points threshold then you will get CSQ. This might change in future when Quebec moves onto ITA type of system.

Thanks a lot @APPNOV2014NY. One more question, I have 2 years of gap in my career which i din't fill in the application form. My job started in 2011 but then i left the job after few months and started studying for an industry certification from a local institute. I don't have any diploma of this course, I just have a certificate from the institute stating I studied so and so content during the course. Do you think I should fill this thing in the form ? In the form, I just mentioned my employment starting year as 2014 cause after pursuing this course, I again started working and still doing job.

Please note that i am not an expert. I am fellow applicant.

I am really thank full to u for ur promt reply,
I have not even created my profile to submit in Quebec program. I just want to confirm as you guys have already submitted and well aware of the program more than me. And I hardly found person having atleast lil knowledge to share with me. website is in French and it is very tedious process to research.

1. If I start my process today, means preparing all docs and create my online profile for Quebec, approx time for receiving CSQ. (I know it vary case to case; may I know when U have submitted ur file and when u get csq so that I could have rough idea.)
2. I have not given French, as per current changes in mon project it is not mandatory rite?
Currently I am in India. Is it true dat they give priority to ppl who r on student or work permit already there in Quebec?
It would be greate help if u can suggest gud site to know all about Quebec program which is it English :D
My points as per points grid for Quebec is 60.
My profile is of IT.

1. I had submitted my application as Cap-exempt inland applicant in Jan 2016 and expecting PR around Dec 2017. So 2 years for me. I know that applicants outside of USA/Canada are getting PR ( CSQ + Federal) after around 4-5 years. With introduction of MON project QSW is expected to run faster and you might get your PR ( again CSQ + Federal) in 2-3 years.

2. At this point French is not mandatory. I had submitted my application without French and English scores and still got CSQ.

3. MIDI prioritizes following people as Cap-exempt ( high level information). These people can apply for CSQ anytime while others have to wait for quota to open up :
a) PEQ applicants = Temporary Workers/Student + B2 level in French
b) LMIA expect applicants
c) Temporary Residents ( Workers + Students) that have stayed in Quebec for more than 1 year.

4. I had used websites of MIDI and CIC and this forum to understand QSW process. All 3 are available in English.
