what is non-routine?Even then, the MPs will say that your case is non-routine or it's still under review and won't provide much help. Speaking from experience.

Good To know, might be they were processing the BGC (rough guess), as now days, I have heard CPC is doing half of the work for LVO. Be positiveMy MP called to CPC Mississauga and they told that my file is in Mississauga and they will transferred to LVO soon. My file is completed and nothing they required. But I am still thinking if everything is completed then why still in Mississauga.
Wait for 2-3 days, if you dont get any additional document request via mycic, then involve your MP to find out from LVO.Hello everyone
Today there is an update on mycic
It says we need more documents to continue processing your application in review of additional documents and previously it said we are reviewing the documents provided
What documents will.they ask..any idea???
Now, CPC Mississauga do BGC? and if they do this its means LVO will just request for PPR?Good To know, might be they were processing the BGC (rough guess), as now days, I have heard CPC is doing half of the work for LVO. Be positive
It's a very loose term used by CIC and MPs to identify your application. It could mean a host of things. Just to point out a few: a divorce case, appeal case, cases with kids, cases before pilot projects, cases which are older than 2016, interview cases and in one of the forum member's case: None of the above yet he is still identified as a "non-routine"what is non-routine?
I've had the same request in MyCIC since June. Nothing has changed and MP said to wait it out since the officer can't decide which document to ask. Just give me the PPR!! what else do you really need MyCIC!?Wait for 2-3 days, if you dont get any additional document request via mycic, then involve your MP to find out from LVO.
they should have an audit system or some kind of performance and productivity system. But they can always justify our cases by saying we are from the most dangerous country in the world and it takes a while to process these applications. So technically no one has a solid case against their performance so waiting is the best option.well then how do they explain it being fair to us when people who applied after us have got a DM already??
mycic updated to what? U already got PPR.Final update: MyCIC is updated now. it seems passport is onway back already.
Yes, on sponsor's side it says "We started processing your application on March 29, 2017."Thanks for the info. Do you have a line in ECAS (PR side) saying something like "We started processing your application..."?
Actually, I contacted my MP last month, which was 5 months into our application. They contacted CIC/LVO and told me that eligibility (i.e. security and criminality) is in process and our application could take until April 2018 latest. You can only involve MP if its past processing time, which is 12 months. Most MPs are turning people away because of the reforms made in Dec.
Yes, its there.Thats right. See if a new table is there for counterfile/document number. Also keep tracking the pp through VFS website. Good luck.
Eligibility checks are not Security and criminality checks. You probably meant BGC.Actually, I contacted my MP last month, which was 5 months into our application. So they didn't provide much new info, but you can still contact them before 12 months
