I applied pr 2016/01/01
Got AOR end of 2016/04
Md received middle of 2017/03
Decision made end of 2017/06
Passport request 2017/07/06, and received 2017/07/10
Now waiting for passport return for 21days already, but nothing

Anyone knows how long is going to take for cic to finish my passport and return it? I am hoping that they don't lose my passport, i am worry. I hope all the best to everyone, if anyone knows my situation please help me, thank you

Good for you man, I am waiting for my passport return, they received it 2017/07/10, but still nothing happens. I hope they don't lose my passport, I wonder why they takes so long. Any suggestions for my situation? Please and thank you. Wish you all the best.

Some of the people, they sent passport before me and still they are waiting for their passport. No idea how they are working on our application. Hopefully you will hear from them by this week. Did your application get approved yet? If not, then just give them a call. I hope this will help you.

I just assume they will say something at some point.....and....whatever....

too much stress for every Jan applicant, make us waiting for over almost 20 months without explanation.

Hi, I see your application was approved even your passport was expiring in Dec 2017. I have same situation now and I am worried about it. My passport will expire in January 20, 2018 and My BG has changed to Processing and hopping I will get PPR within this week. Do you think I can send my current passport when I get PPR? Did you get any reminder to renew passport? from your experience ? your thoughts will help ... Thanks

if they think they will issue your PR visa before your passport expires, they won't ask for a new passport. if they need new passport they will ask you or provide you time to renew the passport.
