I applied on 11th july paper application
My current status shows it is being processed at New delhi visa office
I want to know how long i have to wait more....!!!
My pupose for visit is to attend a marriage function

Same here. I just got sms from VFS n no email. After that nothing new till date.

Same Here ,Received email about my application being forwarded to the Canada Visa Office in Bangalore on July 15th. No more emails since then.

So Today I got my Mother's passport and she got Multiple Visa finallyyyyy . I must tell you that a lot of applications are still in process as I asked one of their officers and he said that this month they received a lot of applications and there is huge rush that's why it's taking so long for embassy to process the application.

Ok So I re-applied for my mother's tourist visa at Delhi VFS centre on 6th July and today that is on 28th July I got the update that passport has been dispatched. This time they took almost 22 days for sending the passport, however last month as I applied for the first time I got rejection stating reasons which was not at all valid at the first place.

So I would like to know usually if visa is approved in how much time they send the passports ? Because when I was at VFS one of the officers told me that if you're visa is approved they usually send it within 2 weeks or so and if not they send it later. Is this true ?
