I understand what you mean here my friend and agree also, like I said until and unless the issue is security, which in most cases is not.Hey Gurik,
First come first served....is the scheme by CIC after ITA. However, merit of the application like CSEs, country PCC check, Interpol check etc. changes the processing timelines. Also, all the officer can not run on the same speed. Isnt it? All offices can not process on the same speed. Even as a human being, we dont have same size fingers in the hand. So, processing has to be different for each application. However, an applicant can sense out/correlate the processing timelines by seeing others.....
They take only a week in all to process most files, major time is spent in waiting, which is understandable considering the huge number of applications. I used to believe the same earlier but as my experience is increasing here and i am seeing GCMS data of different people, its clear the delays are more due to random factors other then some solid issues. I agree with people working at different pace also, but if all organisation take such factors into consideration, there will be very less productive work done. There has to be a bar.
CIC is only getting away with this due to the 6 month period thing to lay back on, which is also fair enough after all they are letting a person into their country, this time the very least if you see USA! Point is when they can issue PPR in 12 days and another person with exact same profile is getting in 220 days! It becomes unfair. Not only till ITA first come first basis is happening till IP1 also, which is great. I think it largely depends on the person handling the file, many agents/visa officers are real quick. So for people who are waiting 100+ days seeing files issued in 30 days it is mocking them, i was speaking on their behalf.
I have utmost respect for all these patient people.
