I also did not get any email(not in spam folder as well) and only get to know when i logged into my profile.

Keep checking your profile and don't wait for any email to show up in your inbox. That is what i have been doing.

My passport arrived at VFS on the 17th of July and was sent to the embassy on the 18th for stamping, still no update since then. I called VFS and asked for an update and they said that the processing time for PR stamping is 10-20 business days. So close to the end but this last little bit of waiting is killing me!

@KiranK and @varungole I was trying to contact the IRCC on the 1888 242 2100 number as I have received one of the PCC (where originally I had submitted only the proof of request) and want to check if I have to send it through CSE. However, the automated call takes me upto the point of reading out the online status and then towards the end asks to press 0 to reach an agent.. and when I press 0 it is saying the queue is long and hence I cannot be placed and call disconnects. Should I choose a different option to reach an agent? Could you please advise based on your past experience? Thank you!

Oh no worries dear, no question is dumb ever, we all were unaware in the beginning.

Stages of Application- AOR>Medical Pass>IP1>NA2>IP2>PPR

IP1 happens when your BGC goes to "in progress" for the first time from the default "not applicable" immediately after you pass medicals, sometimes it happens few days before medicals also. Give or take a few days. This stage lasts from few hours to 15 days on average before it again changes to "not applicable" (normally referred to as NA2 on the forum). As this change can be very quick and can only be ssen if you check CIC account twice or thrice a day regularly, many candidates miss it. Wordings of IP1 can be anything from "your application is in progress.........." or "next step to......" etc. Wordings keep on changing. IP1 is indicative of R10 check and it being changed to NA2 indicates that R10 check (check for completeness of documents i.e whether you have submitted all docs required by CIC properly or not, this is only a quantitative check and not qualitative) was successful and passed. IP1 can last from few hours to few days.

Next stage is NA2, here background remains "not applicable". This stage lasts for 14-40 days and even more varying from case to case.
At this stage criminality, eligibility and security are done mostly. After this stage again the background changes to "in progress" for the second time, this is IP2 stage, wording could be "we are processing......" etc. At this stage your application is checked for all checks one last time by the Visa Officer and finalised. This stage may last from 2-15 days ideally. After this PPR is issued.

@KiranK quick question. When you say eligibility is checked, does that mean the row for "Review of eligibility" should update when BGC status changes to IP2?

I am May 25 AoR. Medicals passed 14-Jul and UCI created on the same day.
Back ground check is in 'We are processing...' status since then (14-Jul). Is it IP2 stage? How long does it usually take to clear this stage and what is the next stage

I think i m on NA2? Please correct me if i am wong.

One week ago there was a change in the status for the additional documents:

" Review of additional documents -- The additional documents you provided have been uploaded"

Although i only submitted the additional documents at the time of original submitting when i received my AOR.

Please advise if i need to be worries as NA2 has been there for more than 32 days now. Also what are the chanes for it changing to IP2.
