Express Entry Medical and Financial Document Question

Hi,

We are ready to submit the Express Entry application. I am going thru the instructions for the Supporting documents and have couple of questions:

1. For proof of medical, the instructions says " In order to submit your online application, you will need to upload the information printout sheet or the IMM 1017B Upfront Medical Report form. Your doctor will give you one of these forms when you complete your medical exam."

What my brother got is the e-Medical Tracking Sheet with Applicant's details and a UMI Number. Is this okay or I need to manually fill IMM 1017B and upload?


2. For Proof of means of Financial Supports, instructions says "If you are applying for permanent residence in Canada, you must provide an official letter issued by your financial institution indicating your financial profile."

Brother has savings account at State Bank of India, and their branch manager says they do not issue any letter, everything is online and whatever they will give will be system generated which we can download too by logging into online account. When I downloaded, it says "Computer generated statement, signatures not required" at the bottom. Is this acceptable?

2 - See if the bank can stamp those statements, if not then provide a LOE stating that your bank does not provide letters nor stamps for the statements.

One more Question regarding instructions,

We have provided Masters degree and Bachelor's degree under educational documents, Do we need to also provide details of 10th and 12th Standard examination ?

1 - The e-Medical sheet is what is required only.

2 - See if the bank can stamp those statements, if not then provide a LOE stating that your bank does not provide letters nor stamps for the statements.

I guess our documentation part is done. One hopefully last question - Can we use Adobe Reader's "Fill and Sign" feature to sign the LOE electronically? or it has to be physically signed and scanned?

No.

It is not a requirement to sign the LOE in the first place so you can sign it electronically if you feel like it.
