Hey I'm from India, I've got admission in university of Windsor for fall 2017, but i have not applied for visa yet because of affidavit document pending. If i don't get a visa, do you think my admission can be defered to January 2018? I really need this university but i don't know if that's possible. Any help guys thanks.

Yes. you can defer to the Jan intake 2018. Just contact the university and raise your concerns and ask them for a deferal. They will defer your admission and give you a new offer letter.

I read on the internet, that some universities don't have this facility, are you sure about Windsor University?

Yes, UoW can give deferral of one term if there is a genuine reason. You can send an email to the address mentioned in your offer letter stating that visa application preparation took time and it seems impossible to get visa before the start of Fall 2017 semester (Or any other genuine reason you find reasonable). Then request them to defer your admission for next intake and issue you a revised offer letter to attach with your visa application. That may help. Cheers!

I feel like to discuss my problem here. Actually I want to complete my post secondary studies in Canada and want to take a two-years IT diploma course at an affordable and well known community college. I am very confused between two provinces or most appropriately between two cities, one of them is Windsor(Ontario) and the other is Winnpeg(Manitoba). At windsor, I have selected one college which is known as 'St. Clair college' and at winnipeg, I have choosen two community colleges and they are 'Red river college' and ' MITT college'. My primary concern after completing my studies is to get the PR. So I want to know:
1) Where the processing of PR is fastest between these two cities?
2) Where the minimum wage of part time jobs for international students is more between these two cities?
3)Where the availability of part time job for international students is more between these two cities?
4) Where the living and accommodation expense is less between these two cities?
5) Only if you know, suggest me names of some community colleges where the last semister provides paid internship.

Please help me out by answering all my questions. Thanks in advance.

I would recommend filing an application for study permit first before asking for deferral. I got admission in UoW for summer 2017 but my admission got deferred to fall 2017 because of visa processing delays. I applied for study permit way back in january for summer and i deffered my admission in may by the time it would 'logistically' impossible for me to join university.

Is there any chance that I accept the offer letter and then request for deferring to next intake and they reject and I lose the chance to go to the University.

I will still have the previous offer right?

And also do they accept additional documents on email as the EGas portal is locked now I have to upload the backlog certificate.
