Hi All

I request anyone to help me in my doubt or worry.I have 5/5/1982 as my DOB in all my certificates ,but my actual DOB is 14/9/1982.I tried to change my DOB as 14/9/1982 ,but Educational department told my request will be disqualified ,due to that my educational qualification also fall in trouble.I don't know where is my mistake in this ,its purely governments mistake ,since they don't have any law like mandatory birth certificate or people should join only after 5 into schools.Now am planning to apply for canada PR visa , please advise apart from Birth certificate what are all the certificates i can submit.Is the 10th marksheet and Affidavit from a government Notary lawyer is enough?.I am totally upset ,kindly help me in this with your valuable comments.

Also i heard one more thing is , birth certificate is not mandatory for the people who born before 1989.Is there any law or government circular like that ,anyone know about this?.If so please share some information about this please

well you know what - i would just go with whatever date is mentioned on all your important documents like passport, aadhar card etc.. i think trying to change birth date now at this stage in life is next to impossible - just go with whatever is the official date rather than the actual date according to you.

Thanks for the reply ,kindly tell me if I submit for visa or PR process they will not reject right? if I submit all the documents which carries my official DOB as 5/5/1982, as well what should I submit as equivalent doc for date of birth (Birth certificate)

well considering birth certificate isnt even a mandatory document - i would just not submit it.
jsut go with passport and 10th memo (or whatever else) you should be fine
