Hey I was just wondering, I submitted my PCC with the schedule A (without request, they had only asked for schedule a ) in April. But now they asked for my pcc again and my BGC started (July 24th). I emailed it to them right way. Does anyone know how long it takes for the bgc to finish and to get DM based on one's experience ?
I see many people get DM after a few days when the BGC starts and they had sent it upfront but what about the cases when they request pcc ?

Can take 1 week or 3 months. It's random but I will say the average must be around 1 month and a half. It also depends on your VO. Some VO's are known for taking longer. Mine has been in progress for more than 1 month now.

am a bit confused...Hope you guys can help me out...
My wife "main applicant" got a temp visitor visa and came over last week to visit me in Canada and stay for a while... we are in the last stages of the process as most of you"medical requested and received by VO already"...
Can we change her address to Canada although we filed an outland app so she can send her passport feom here in case got a PPR while in canada? I am afraid that she will get the PPR while she is here in Canada and then have to fly back just to submit it! Too expensive!.

Yes! You should notify your visa office by email or webform! One you get PPR it gives you the option to send it to your VO or to Mississauga ! At least that's what I know from people who have done it! My visa office is São Paulo and I know it works that way! I'm also visiting my sponsor and planning on doing the same thing myself

May I know how can you know your application is approved after sending out your passport

The visa office won't ask for the passport to issue a visa if the application hasn't been approved. There's no point. Our account details were updated and the final decision changed to approved not long after we sent my husband's passport info to Ottawa. That was how we knew the CoPR had been sent. We got it in the mail the next day.
