@Kiran K,
Nice work. You put a lot of efforts in answering the question precisely.
Can you tell me what can I expect next..?
AOR-June 26
UCI no. Alloted - July 18th
Meds Passed-July 18th
Background check message- Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check
It changed to NA On July 20th Canada time and July 21st in Japan.
I am from India, Currently in Japan. I have bare minimum travel history of coming to Japan 2 years ago and haven't been back to India since.
But, my husband ( dependent in my EE application) has a extensive travel history mostly business trips and had to submit 3 PCC for him and 2 for me.
I can see a few people with a later AOR date than me but already in IP2, I suspect I am in NA2 for past 8 days.
P.S - All docs submitted Upfront. And RPRF paid Upfront.

Hi Guys,

I sent mail to CPC-Ottawa asking about VO. I got the reply after couple of hours saying that "My application has been approved and a Ready for Visa letter with instructions will be sent shortly".

May be they start PPR as batch tonight hopefully...
Please share your timeline in your signature. It would be of great help to everyone.

Hi Guys, I got my ITA on April 5th and AOR on June 20th. My wife's IELTS score expired on June 27th. I heard that once you receive your ITA your profile gets blocked and an expired IELTS after that shouldnt be an issue. But, this was the reply I got from CPC-Ottawa when I tried contacting them asking about the VO:

Please be advised that your application is at our office and is being processed as per our regulatory timeline. Please note that we cannot confirm when your file will be ready for finalization.

We do not require any information from you at the present time. An officer will contact you if further information is required. Please ensure when submitting documents that they are still valid and will not expire within six (6) months as this could delay your application.

Please consult our Website for information regarding our processing times:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/index.asp.

For your information, the processing times, provided on the website, is the average time it took visa offices to approve or refuse 80 percent of applications during a specified period in the past. They may not accurately predict future processing times.

We appreciate your patience and ask that you keep correspondence with our office to a minimum.

I am not sure whether they are referring to the IELTS in this line "Please ensure when submitting documents that they are still valid and will not expire within six (6) months as this could delay your application."

Can anyone please give their suggestions?

My timelines:
ITA: April 5th 2017
AOR: June 20th 2017
Requested for additional docs (Scedule A declaration of activities of my wife): July 15th 2017
Meds passed: June 18th 2017
BG status: Currently NA. Might have missed IP1, not sure.

there are a lot of other applicants who are in the same boat as you. Today being Friday, there should be a batch PPR.

Congratulations and it is just a matter of time before you are on your way to Canada as a PR.

There is nothing to worry. They day you file your application, that is the day when your documents have to be valid. Upon submitting your application, your application is locked.

Any document that subsequently expires, will not have any impact on your application.

For the language tests Your test results must be less than two years old when you submit your application for permanent residence.

No. The email you received is a standard reply which everyone received. Nothing to worry about. Just keep a track of your application and if your R10 is complete, you are all good. I am not sure about your AoR, but if you should have been through the completeness check within the first 45 days.

After 60 its the eligibility time. Order GCMS and keep a track and after you are done with eligibility you are 95 % through.

@KiranK The telephone system says my BGC has not started yet. meds done nd eligibility under review.. SO my file is probably in IP1 right? or NA2?
In IP1, so this means file will be at CIO Sydney, do not e-mail for VO as yet, no point.
Wait for it to change to "not applicable", i.e NA2.

I uploaded ECA report as well as IELTS score report. Not sure if we had to as like you said, it didn't ask for. But I uploaded just in case. @KiranK, she will be able to answer your query.

Good luck!
Its always better to upload ECA and IELTS CIC can be brutal at times so always better to be safe, but mostly they ask also if needed.
Still if you wish to send you can send via CSE.

@KiranK, I just got a new passport (standard passport renewal). How do I report to CIC about the new passport #. I also haven't heard from CIC about my address change which I had communicated to them more than 2 week back. Should I send another email to them? If so, should I send both these queries separately or in one email?

My application after medical has slowed down a lot. 7 days since IP1 and no change to BGC, will wait for another 7 days

Thank you in advance.
Use this link for informing them of any changes in your file-
https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx
It takes 30 days for them to update these changes.

I have been in IP1 since 8 days now. I have heard people usually move to NA2 on the same day. I am a single applicant etc then why is my application in IP1 for so long? Any particular reason?
No worries at all 2-14 days is perfectly normal in IP1. It will change soon dear.
