Change of Noc Code after ITA

You can definitely change your NOC in the system after the ITA, but before the e-APR. I did this...just found a NOC that matches better with my job duties. I explained the change in my LOE...Hope it doesn't affect my application. Fingers crossed.

I made the same mistake – my profile had an incorrect NOC code, and later when I got an ITA and prepared my documents for submission, I quoted the correct NOC on my job letters. I then sent a CSE explaining what happened, and just last month my application for PR was approved.

I think they will recalculate your points based on your correct NOC, and if your points are still high enough to make the draw after which you got the ITA, it won’t hurt your case much. But then again, it’s just my guess, you’ll need to decide if you want to risk it or not. There have been cases of rejected applications because of an incorrect NOC.

I want to send an explanation, but it's post AOR and medicals. Could you please talk me through how you did a CSE, as it obviously doesn't specifically give you an option to update such info.

If you are not a PNP candidate, you can change your NOC after ITA. In your case, if your spouse does not have Canadian work experience, then you won't get any points and there is no need to mention the spouse's work experience. You can move it to the Personal History section of your spouse and avoid uploading unnecessary documents.

Yes he doesn't have any canadian work experience. The problem is that we have mentioned in the EE profile that his noc as 1311. So if i make any changes now ...wont it create unnecessary chaos? Pls reply

Dear Ricky, Did you skill level changed when you changed you NOC ? my will drop from skill A to Skill B.
