Is it true that mostly inland apps are processed at Mississauga?

My wife contacted to MP and he contacted to Mississauga Office, he said my wife is completely ok and everything I have provided them, they have received and nothing is required now and its been 3 months my file has not been transferred to LVO because of overload of application, but it will be transferred to LVO soon.
Hi Ahsan,

Did you get any email of file transfer.

April applicant here.
Got SA approval on May 26th, never received request for PCC / Schedule A or medicals. Uploaded PCC and Schedule A on June 17th - no news since. Don't even know if they received it. ECAS still says Application received, GCKey still says "Action Required" with no messages. Did another upload of PCC / Sch A and sent by mail this week.
Call centre agent keep talking about their stupid system glitch and telling that they are going to request an account reset from tech support and again - nothing is happening.

This whole situation is beyond infuriating. If they are overloaded, at least process applications is the order they are received but this whole business with some people waiting since January and some people getting everything done in two months is so unfair I can't even.

I wonder if the applications that got stuck like this share some common element. It's weird that they have different requests for documents. I was never asked medical or PCC for example, only schedule a.

Right, and I sent everything upfront.. they also accepted everything.
so I have no idea.
If it's honestly due to a back log.. then that's kind of a piss off when I applied in Feb and yet people from March- Now are getting transferred.
But I'm REALLY trying to not look at it like that and keep up hope that Mississauga will be doing our whole application and just transfer us when it's basically done.

Are you a USA Canadian couple? I am applying from USA but not a citizen. It's truly enraging to see how applications are handled differently.

Yes. I'm a US Citizen.
I was just talking about this with another member.
It's insane how differently everything is being handled right now..
I mean.. I'm glad these people are getting through.. but why are people from the US and London just so slow?

Similar to Masonb6888, I'm from Canada and I'm sponsoring my USA wife.

It seems like the majority of persons stuck in Mississauga are US applicants. Other countries that would normally have gone to Ottawa are probably included in this mess as well. They should at least explain what is happening rather than keeping us in the dark.

The "Background check" on GCKey just updated to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." today which is weird, because it still says "Application Received" on ECAS.

So maybe it is just an issue with ECAS not being updated.

So we have been stuck in Mississauga for 6 weeks with no info. We are out of country applied March 31 and recently relocated to BC. On june 12 we were asked to clarify a secondary school address on Schedule A. I immediately corrected it and uploaded the form. Then nothing. I rang on July 5th and spoke with a grumpy customs agent who said I shouldn't have called and that they had received my corrected Schedule A. CIC said more documents needed to continue to process. I emailed 2x asking for clarification about the CIC message, and both times I was told they had the Schedule A and to be patient. 2 days ago I rang again and spoke with a really nice guy who actually opened our file- low and behold (!) our schedule A was NEVER received and our application was on hold for 6 weeks while they "waited for me to respond and upload it". So I sent screen shots through the technical error reporting thing and reattached our corrected schedule A. Within 24 hours, I have an email confirming out schedule A is now attached and our application is being forwarded to the appropriate office for processing. I am not sure if that means the overseas VO which for us is Sydney

App received on April 13th, and yes. No idea when my application was transferred or even if it has since ECAS still says "Application Received" and I did NOT get an AOR2 or any other emails.

I'm guessing you're sponsoring from Pakistan as well, are you in the Pakistan thread?
