Any updates for CEC (outland)

I have heard people are getting PPR of April Fsw and Cec class.

AOR: May 3, 2017
Medical Passed: May 27, 2017
Background check: You don't need fingerprints. We will send you update whenbackground check went in progress.

Guys, be prepared to wait for at least 1.5 to 2 months just to pass medical. CEC candidates with AOR 4-May hasn't passed medicals yet.
Any reason for this? Or they generally do Fsw first? My AOR wss June 14. I was hoping you be back in Canada by Middle Oct ?!

So the CIC is backed up with student related visas (quite busy during summer months, so they assign CEC officers to do temp visas) so there may be some delays.

If you check the May AOR track website, there are only handful of CEC applications with Meds passed ( a lot more for FSW applications). Now, this doesn't mean your application won't be approved within 6 months, it just means they are a bit slow with the preliminary stuff.

Dont lose hope!

No problem!

- Toward the end of August, most likely.

- I used for the government & have multiple colleagues working for the Global affairs and CIC (IRCC)

Thanks for the input my friend.

Whats your take on the average processing time of a 100% completed application i.e. All PCCs, work/travel history, Upfront Medical, RPRF, Proof of funds the whole works submitted?

We should keep this discuss alive so we know which date of CEC application they are assessing...

As far i know from tracker, april applicant got their medical passed. From May 5 onward evryone waiting. Correct me if i am wrong??

Thanks

Interesting to know about this however just curious why wouldnt they pull the guys working on FSW to do that and why the CEC guys who are processing it.. Just that FSW is overflowing and while I am happy for them, there are people here within the country waiting and impacted coz they need to either apply for BOWP or other process. So that doesnt sound meaningful!! When searched in the internet about CEC delays, I do see articles coming up from 2010 and 2012 where they had similar abnormal delays for CEC!! Very strange and disappointing :(
