Cannot link Express Entry profile to new account

I am hoping someone can help with this issue I am facing with linking my previous application. Essentially I had to create a new CIC account since my sign in partner information changed and CIC no longer could identify it was the same account. Now I created a new one and am trying to link my current Express Entry application but it simply cannot be found. I had emailed CIC earlier today about the issue of not being able to see my application and before I had tried the linking function I had called CIC and they said they are not able to handle technical issues. Does anyone know how to solve this or what my options are?

Figured this out today with the help of some other threads and another user who led me to some more!

1.Choose the application number and family name option and entered these
2.Put in a blank space for the city of birth
3.No passport details but filled everything else and it worked!

So relieved!

I'm facing now the similar problem. Actually, I forgot my password and , unfortunately, I couldn't create new password because I forgot the answers to the security questions. Anyway , I have to create a new account, but I'm worried that there would be a problem in getting my previous Express entry application back. Now , my question is if I could get my previous application back, would I access the all status of that application? For example like NOI? (Notification Of Interest)

Were you able to solve this problem, I am facing the same currently. I had tried following steps from JanP but since those fields are mandatory i am not able to proceed. PLEASE HELP ! Much appreciated

ANYBODY ABLE TO FIND ANSWER FROM THIS PROBLEM. NOT ABLE TO ACCESS MY ACCOUNT BEZ MY CONSULTANT REFUSES TO SHARE PASSWRD WITH ME , GOT ITA AS WELL
