I got the nomination on July 24th. Go the certificate @Home(Seattle, WA) today.
I stay in India. It took 3 days for you. I wonder how much time it will take for me.

I understand how you feel about this ray of hope that we're counting on. Provided that they take about 60 days max to process applications, i would assume that by end of September, they may open it up again if they haven't reached their limit intake. Have faith! They're probably just so overwhelmed with the influx of submissions.
Exactly ,...@ the end of the day I am suspicious that every single assessed application will be successful and that every single registered account will have a complete application ...hence they must replace these fallen soldiers

On the other hand, What if they still had a huge shortage after fully assessing current patch in certain ICT occupations for example even after lowering the CRS to below 400?

I think September will have a more specific and focused intake ...

Hi,
I am a pretty new applicant so pardon my lack of knowledge. So at what point do you actually get a hard copy of the OINP invitation? I know that when you apply under the OINP application, they require a copy of it. At this point, I only have a soft copy of the application received through my express entry profile. Will you please break it down for me? I mean when I apply under OINP One-key profile how do I prove my invitaion?
Many thanks in advance.

But what about those who already received an invite but didn't get enough time to submit an application before they put a hold on OINP HCP?

They will act as the replacements for the cases I mentioned above , and additional HC resources if they need any by then...

Bro what u have and most of us have here is not a nomination ...it's just NOI=Notification of interest

A notification of interest is just telling you that Ontario thinks u could be a good candidate please apply for a nomination and that's it ,its not a nomination or a grantee for one

After you apply you go through assessment phase then decision in process phase then you are either accepted or rejected ..only if u r accepted you will receive a nomination

Hope you have the full picture now

I understand. So a NOI does not necessarily guarantee a nomination? And, if you do get a NOI, how hard is it to get a OINP nomination? Does that then depend on your NOC and relevant experiences. So, for example ICT skilled people will have a better chance than say a person with just a business background? Are they extremely selective when it comes to OINP nomination?

Hey All,

1) I don't have a birth certificate (born in '83), and the local municipality is refusing to issue one because I don't have an Aadhaar card/number (although they have confirmed the authenticity of the request and birth details from the relevant hospital). Even if I were to start the Aadhaar process now, it'll be at least a month or more before I can get one. What are my alternatives for the birth certificate? On the same note, why is birth certificate even mandatory when there are other government issued documents proving the date of birth (passport, for instance)?

2) Would someone be kind enough to share a sample employment reference letter (a template, of course).

thanks!

How to provide online access of WES to OINP?
Login to your WES account and you have the option to send the duplicate report. When you click, it will ask for the recipient, click on add recipient and choose ONIP, and next till payment. Payment charge will be around $75 change.

Thanks. I just ordered it and added recipient as Ontario immigrant Nominee Program. I removed IRCC as recipient and my total was $41 something.

I submitted my application on 24th July and it is now in Assessment state. Do you think I delayed the process of sending the duplicate report? Or is it fine?

I did not get an option to remove IRCC so I just proceeded with that and so I said its $75. This is fine as the process for WES to complete takes max 1 working day and hopes OINP receives within next day. .All the best. Cheers :).

I just checked in WES, they revamped the whole website and this website is cool. You saved $35. :) Lucky you.

-So a NOI does not necessarily guarantee a nomination? Of course it does not ,its just the first perquisite for a nomination ,without it you cannot even apply for nomination

- Does that then depend on your NOC and relevant experiences? Some ppl believe NOC and CRS are huge factors ,some think its of minor contribution ,but the sure thing are the specific criteria of each stream (Human capital ,French speaker ,Job offer,etc...) ...those criteria must be met first with a condition of CRS above 400 points in normal cases.

-So, for example ICT skilled people will have a better chance than say a person with just a business background? Not normally , but for the last few weeks they broke the" CRS above 400 " rule for some ICT occupations for a given period and took lower scores among them ,now the entire stream is on hold.

I think you need to read more about Ontario updates and program's layout
