Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
My CRS is 410 and I finally had my documents ready to upload yesterday and found I could not :( I have been feeling so bad since yesterday but you all have been a great help with keeping up the hope. I had spent the last 2 weeks diligently and focused almost 100% on collecting all the documents and following up in order to apply for OINP as soon as possible. I finally received the final missing employer reference letter and my new passport Monday night and thought to create my profile but was tired and still had more work to catch up with. I thought tomorrow would be no problem, then got shut out ... :(

@FaithandFavor I am so sorry to hear about your brother. Yes, when it rains it pours ... I thought I had it bad because I was recently rejected for a job in Toronto that I had really wanted and then got my hopes up of at least progressing with the immigration when I got NOI 2 weeks ago ... then I find yesterday that I can't even apply. I had even thought about applying for FBI PCC today since it takes 3 months to receive the PCC, but I think I will hold off until the OINP opens up again. But we all have to stay strong and hopeful. I'm catching up on the ROH thread here for comfort ... and I want to think that Ontario is pausing its intake of new applications in order to catch up with its current applications and fix the technical issues that have been plaguing the system for the last few weeks. When they open it up to us again, we will be able to submit smoothly, without all the errors and disappearing documents that so many others have experienced lately!
Oinp hcp has stopped accepting new applications temporarily probably due to a surge in applications. They will reopen it. Stay alert and check their website for announcements a few times every day.

:D Me too, don't care at all! :D
Just installed the page monitor extension, it allows setting the time to every 5 seconds. :D

Not that I mind about this so-called draw, I don't even care.
I don't care if you break their website for doing so, it's just ONE damn f***ing website! Did they even bother about those hundreds of shattered hearts (and even F5 keys)? o_O

Sorry it's hard to sympathise with you :D Some of us have been waiting for years for an ITA

Good luck.
I agree, I have been waiting from 2014 and I know you were earlier than me..luckily I went nomination route, the last two draws were my indicators to take up OINP option. I TOLD people if the last two draws didn't decrease to their score go get OINP (June 28 and July 12).

Guys, I posted this in the provincial nomination forum, but I feel more hopeful and less upset after reading this, so I want to make sure those of you in my situation and reading this thread see this. It appears that Ontario is intentionally pausing and reopening applications to all streams throughout the year in order to ensure that people have a chance to apply throughout the year, rather than allowing all the available nominations to be taken early in the year, which happened last year. I read this on pages 35-36 of this FAQ (page 36-37 in the PDF). I think/hope it's likely they will open it back up later this year, even if we have to wait a few more months. In the meantime, we need to hope and pray for a speedy reopening.

OINP Limit on Application Intake

1) Why is the OINP implementing limit on application intake?

The popularity of the OINP continues to grow. By May 2016, Ontario had received a sufficient number of program applications to fulfill its 2016 allocation. In January 2016 alone, the program received over 1,800 applications. To ensure processing efficiency and quality customer service, the OINP will be monitoring the volume of applications to its Express Entry Human Capital Priorities and International Masters and PhD student streams. These streams will be paused and reopened periodically throughout the year until the province’s 2017 federal allocation is fulfilled. Stakeholders will be informed when streams are temporarily paused and reopened again via the OINP Updates webpage.

2) What is your intake limit and will it apply to all streams?

The OINP is monitoring the intake of applications, and will be responsive to the demand for each of the three streams.

The OINP continues to accept online applications under the Entrepreneur Stream and French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream, and paper-based applications to the Corporate stream. There will be no limit to applications for these streams.

All applications will be processed in the order received.

3) How will I know if the program has reached its application intake limit?

Applicants will be notified in the e-filing system as soon as the intake limit has been met.

At the registration stage, you will receive the following automatic system notice that the program has reached its application intake limit: “Please note that the OINP has reached its registration intake limit for this stream. No new registrations will be accepted for this stream at this time. For more information please visit the OINP website”.

Once the program reaches its application intake limit, you will be unable to complete your registration and the program will not receive any registration information from you.

Individuals are encouraged to monitor the OINP website for updates on intakes to the streams.

I don't know, it seems like provincial nominations influence the level of liberty in draws. Given the high surge in NOI applications, it could be a sign of a more conservative draw this week (keep in mind nominations from other provinces as well like BC and Manitoba). But nevertheless I'm sticking to my conspiracy: 1. CIC operatives view this page like a hawk 2. CIC looks at the speculation of scores across each new ROH thread and raises up the score by 2. Maybe if we don't have a refresh party when we most expect it, we may reset our draw ticker

IRCC don't care about the score. They care about the number of immigrants so they can hit their targets. CRS was as low as 413 only a few weeks back so it's not to do with the CRS score.

If they don't do a new draw today then its because they don't need to do one to meet their targets.
I was wondering if they looked at the PR applications of those that got ITAs at 425, 413, and realised for some reason they don't meet their criteria subjectively for what ever reason. Maybe they realised going below a certain CRS they don't get the kind of candidates they are interested in, and hence keeping it higher. I wonder if those with ITA at 413, whether their PR application will get through...

I know this is a very pessimistic view, and spells bad news for me sitting at 419... but just speculating...

It's so painful to see that draw didn't happen yesterday. I just hope that CIC is not aiming at one draw per month objective. That would be too devastating for us.

Guys, don't lose hope and be positive. In my case my CRS score was less than most of you guys( less than 400) last year. But I stayed optimistic and things started falling in place. CIC changed some rules in November 2016 and my CRS score went upto 481. I entered pool in January 2017 and received ITA in draw which luckily came out very next day. And now by God's grace, I have even got my PPR Email few days back. I am so thankful to God for it and would ask you guys to not to lose hope and be optimistic. You never know you are in the next draw.
