Hey.

.. I'm an American citizen and my husband is in yemen... how can I bring him to Canada as a refugee... I can bring him to USA but it's a long process and I heard there's a new law or something that helps Yemeni refugees... is it true? Does anyone have any info on this topic?

Ask him to apply a Visitor VISA to visit you as ( Visit his Wife ) so when he arrived to USA so you can add him to your life :)

If you can get him to USA, then you could use the Safe 3rd Country Agreement Family exemption to get him into Canada as a refugee claimant.

This means after he's arrived in USA, you would go to move permanently to Canada. After you're in Canada, he can then go to the Canada land border and request asylum directly. Since he has family (you) living in Canada, CBSA should allow him to enter to start his refugee process.

Of course simply sponsoring him for PR under family class is a much quicker process, and will have a much better chance of success vs a refugee application. I'm not sure if once he's in Canada as refugee claimant, you could then submit an inland family class sponsorship app.
OP is American (not a Canadian citizen or PR). So no exemption to the Safe Third Country Agreement and not possible to sponsor him for Canadian PR.

Ahh I somehow read OP was a dual citizen. Never mind my response then.
