Dear All

My first post....

I have worked for about 6 years in a IT firm in India as HR Officer. Its my first and only company. I am also working here till now. My questions as as follows :

I am a HR professional and in 6 years I have done 3 roles within HR in the same organization. Do I create 3 roles or go for only one - as generic HR - starting from 2011 till date?

In my company - roles and designations are different. Will explain below.

2011 - Joined as management trainee...... Worked as Campus Hiring Recruiter (was in this role till 2014 July). In 2012 my designation changed from mgmt trainee to HR Executive (Role remained the same)

Left the campus Hiring role in 2014 and Moved to HR generic Role in 2014 Aug..... Designation did not change - Still Executive HR.

2015 Sept. Got Promoted to Asst. Mgr HR ---- No change in the role (HR Business Partner)

2017 Feb till date - Role changed to Induction & On Boarding Manager (under recruitment function) ---- Designation did not change - Still as Asst Manager HR

Q. My roles and Designation did not change together. Should I go with the ROLE or DESIGNATION in CIC form? (If I have to create 3 entries for my work Ex)

Q. Human Resources - NOC code will be what?? I see HR Recruiter as one code and HR professional as a different code. I have done Recruitment as well as generic HR activities. How do I go about it?

---- You will have to create three entries based on your roles and responsibilities. NOCs are all about roles and responsibilities but NOT the designation. The formula is you match at least 70% of your roles and responsibilities against the selected NOC. I am Mechatronics and Control Engineer and that designation does not even Exist; to give you an idea !

---- You will have to get a letter from your Department categorically stating your Roles and responsibilities with starting date of xx-xx-1907 ( :) ) until xx-xx-1909, then the next date of change of roles and repons. until the date and finally third one !

The answer of your second question is already above, but to again clarify, you will have to match NOC responsbilities according to yours, without caring about designation. You are in a best position to judge your roles and choose NOCs according to that !

G Luck!

I agree with the above, it sounds like you had 3 distinct positions based on roles and responsibilities, that will (maybe) require 2-3 different NOCs. Match the NOC based on the lead statement and the job duties/responsibilities (not job title), your letter(s) of reference will need to describe each position. Even if they are the same NOC, if the duties/responsibilities are a bit different, treat them as a different position.

These are your likely NOCs to chose from. At the bottom of each NOC page, there is a list of "similar" positions, doesn't hurt to look at those too.

NOC 1223 - HR and Recruitment Officers
http://noc.esdc.gc.ca/English/noc/ProfileQuickSearch.aspx?val=1&val1=1223&ver=16&val65=recruiter

NOC 1211 HR professionals
http://noc.esdc.gc.ca/English/noc/ProfileQuickSearch.aspx?val=1&val1=1121&ver=16&val65=recruiter

NOC 0112 HR managers

Hi,

Quick question based on this - When moving to different designations within the same company - do you need official proof of change in title (from the HR Team)? Or will the Letter of Reference explaining the change in titles (even from one NOC to another) be sufficient proof?

Thanks in advance

These work experiences and the resume and diplomas, are they really important for the applications or cic doesn't even check if they're real or fake? Because, I know a couple are going to lie about their diplomas, resumes and the work experience and they're going to buy all these paying to these institutions or companies.plus, one of these people already worked illegally in Canada

I wish they never go through !!!
Such people shall not infiltrate a clean country and stay where they are coming from !!. I wish I know them and I will do my job to report them to authorities by any means. I wish you could do the same. !
Apart from what I said, there will be a strict scrutiny by IRCC, and normally such people will not go through. I am happy for them getting 5 years Ban !
