Yeah understand that, basically I was waiting for my EE profile to become ineligible as based on the test date I entered for spouse in EE profile (23-Jul-2015), the EE profile should become ineligible today as the date has crossed 2 years for IELTS validity today. If this happens I would create a fresh EE profile without spouse IETLS results (CRS score still remains at 400, though earlier with spouse score it was 408) and send a notice to OINP. Thoughts if this would be correct?
As far as I know, Spouse IELTS is not mandatory for EE profile. If IELTS is expired, you will loose those CRS points only. Your profile will not become ineligible. Wait for a couple of days about any change in your EE profile, If it becomes ineligible (almost zero chance) then you can inform OINP.

I didn't see any other candidate like your situation but if you go to CIC portal and look in details you can fine two things or criteria,

- 1st one is express entry profile criteria or CRS points (which is only used for draws to invite you to apply).
- 2nd one is FSW criteria of 67 points out of 100, which is eligibility criteria.

FSW 67 points are important, if you can achieve it without your spouse IELTS, you are good to go.

If anybody can add something to it, I will be obliged and update my knowledge.

That's alright buddy, appreciate your inputs. I would be more interested in looking whether IRCC would render my profile ineligible with spouse IELTS score expiring or would they reduce CRS. If none of this happens I would be more concerned. Probably in that case, in the next few days I would remove spouse IELTS scores from the EE profile and send a notification to OINP about the change in CRS score with explanation of the situation. I hope that with CRS at 400 they would still have no problem considering my application, assuming spouse IETLS results are not mandatory for OINP.
