I would like to know how much money can one carry in total including Cash, Traveler's cheque, etc
Someone told me not more $2000, some told me not more than $5000, some told me $10,000. Could you please confirm me the amount?
Also provide me the source from where, you got to know.

You can take as much as you like but amount equal or greater than CAD 10,000 must be reported to CBSA officials.

Quote: there are no restrictions on the amount of money that you can bring into or take out of Canada, nor is it illegal to do so. However, you now have to report to a border services officer amounts equal to or greater than CAN$10,000, or its equivalent in a foreign currency that you are bringing into or taking out of Canada.

Technically yes but if travelling together there is always the chance CBSA may suspect one is carrying money for the other so if in doubt just declare and you will have no issues at all.
