My case my friend is also a very back luck case. My application has already reached 20months now and no word yet.
I think i am the only dec2015 applicant who hasnt received any new updates. My file has been straight and we have always provided everything cic asked for within a week. When i called cic last week all they could tell me was that its in progress and it takes a month to two months time after medical submission. Its been a month now and i am not hearing anything.

U will hear very soon, may be in a couple of days.. All the best bro.

In my gcms notes i can see my file was ready fr visa on 16sept 2016 and the officer who was doing the last review said, he need finger prints for both of us as we lived in canada for more than 3yrs..n from there the wait started.. One sept to other) nearing).. At some point i lost hope n only thing i can do was pray as nothing was in my hand.. I never gt any extra doc request ever n all my secuirity was passed all in sept 2016(i can see in gcms as they didnt white it out completely) still so many monthz they took.. Hope to get ppr soon..
