Files of applicants are being sent to Ottawa instead of LVOs due to load sharing. London is slow, you are lucky its Ottawa, hence the quick timelne.

No, it is still, "we are proceesing....". It changes after we get our PP stamped.

-You can know your Visa Office by sending an email to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca

This is the email format they require:

IMPORTANT: You must provide us with your application number in the subject line of your email and include in the body of your email the following information:

* Surname and Given name(s)
* Date of birth (YYYY-MM-DD)
* Unique Client Identifier (UCI) number / Client ID number
* Category of Immigration (CEC, Provincial Nominee, Family Class, Federal Skilled Worker, Temporary Resident)

Ohhh, I think it should be okay. Wait for 1-2 days, if you do not get a reply, then send again. This time don't forget.

you might have missed the IP1 notice. Sometimes it is fast.

Possible as said by @systix . I didn't knew that the BG status can change in a single day. Thanks for replying @rxyz .

@Dave2017,, take a look at my timeline below, do you think the same thing may have happened to you. Also, to add to what I have said below, after all the different changes in the profile during July 13th, I only got one email on July 14th 6AM US Central time stating that my applicaiton has been updated. Had I not been checking the profile by myself, I might have missed the BGS going into "Your background check is in progress ...".

Woah, that's too quick @systix . I am happy that your profile is being processed quickly. I really hope the same might have happened in my case as I have been checking the status every alternate days. So, there is a high possibility that I might have missed the update. If we both are in the same boat, by when do you think that we might get a PPR ?

Well, I am really nervous coz I have been waiting for this since 3 years. I wish I get my PR and finally land in Canada this year after a looooooooonnnggg wait.

My Background check status changed to "Not Applicable" from "You application in progress. we will send message once we start your background check" last Thursday.

What stage am I?

It's been more than 10 days since 'Medical Passed'. No other update since then, what is happening??
