Already have Study Permit and now applying for work permit

Hi everyone!

I got study visa for Sept 17 intake. Now my employer is offering me Canada work permit. If i go for the work permit with my organization then my study permit will be valid?

Also, will this(already having student visa) create any problem while applying for work permit. Please Help

Typically work permits cancel study permits. Does your employer have an approved LMIA yet?

Thank you so much for the prompt reply!! I would be flying from the same organization through Intra-Company Transfer(ICT) Work Permit. I am okay if my study permit cancels due to work permit but i am concerned if this fact already having full time study visa leads to my WP rejection.
