Since you are already in Canada, any decent lawyers in mind!
If yes, please Pm me.
Cheers
Sorry, I don't know any Immigration lawyers here. Perhaps someone else might be able to help. Good luck.

So, I just receive a call from a lady, who identifies herself from the risk assesment unit of canadian embassy in New delhi.
Asks me question about my 'WORK EXPERIENCE DOCUMENTS FROM INDIA' , ASKS ME QUESTIONS ABOUT MY RELATIONSHIP WITH MY EMLOYER (is he my uncle/brother/etc), then calls my employer, his office, says there are red flags and will speak to her superior officer, etc

Does this all seem legit to the senior members here.

PS: The call came from a mobile number!!
HI mate, Did you managed to establish the authenticity of the call?.

I am expecting a set of new GCMS notes by the mid of August, which were ordered and created probably a week after the call!
Once they come, I might be able to read about the agent's call report in there.

My 2 cents: The call seems legit even if from a mobile. It's India; the job may have been outsourced to another company. It's not wrong or illegal to work for a relative. Only thing you have going against you though, is that you lied about being related. Not sure why you did that. Keep us posted and good luck!

As far as I know IRCC will not call you or your employer (except very rarely and will ask to set a time for call) but instead will arrange a formal interview and you will receive email regarding this if they need further verification. By law without written consent you have a right to reject answering any question and ask them to arrange formal interview through IRCC.

IRCC never uses language such as Fraud or taking Legal actions against you and your employer as they don't have any international jurisdiction to do that.

The best part is to call or write IRCC regarding this and tell if this was legitimate then arrange it in formal way not over phone. Don't tell the question or answers.

Also, you can check number through True Caller or google it as all calls are only originated from official Visa Office Numbers.

There was a similar scam claiming to be Ontario Immigration which was indicated to OINP and they took action against it.

I hope this will help. Good Luck!
