They have been giving me the same information repeatedly over the last few calls which is basically nothing

My BG is still NA

I am sick of this

Yes same response. If application is approved as mentioned by few other members of the group then why CIC is not sending them PPR, Is there anything else that is done after application is being approved. Does anyone know why it is happening to us?

How did you find out?

I usually check my status over the phone as I filed my application through a representative. The voice over system didn't say anything about my background check which made me suspicious. I then called CIC and they confirmed me that security is the only thing which is remaining now.

Did you call CIC? I was being told that basically everything is passed and all that I have to do is wait for the PPR email.

Aor Jan 2nd still no PPR.... I have been told by a call center representative that all has been passed and just wait for PPR.

I have no idea what is the hold up but just sharing some characteristics of me and see if we have similarities .
I have no dependent but just me in the application.
I do have a lot of travel history and visa renewing back then (Since CIC gave me five study visas even tho I was accepted by Public university)
I do have a PAL(Possession and Acquizision License) for restricted and non-restricted firearm. Maybe they have extra procedure for PAL owners?

Guys, not really an important message for the others however it would made my mind a bit calmer... If you look at my signature, what do you think are the chances for rejection? I'm worried because my application has previously been rejected due to uploading wrong background check of my spouse, (provincial instead of federal - from her country of origin).

Guys guys guys, AOR Jan 28th. My background check was Not Applicable since March and now is "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information" Is this IP2??? Does that mean the eligibility is passed and I have no chances of rejection at this stage? I'm so happy that there is finally a change! Thanks.

Yep ~ that's IP2. not sure about the eligibility tho

Really thank you, fingers crossed for you too mate... I was looking to all the other categories today and a lot of people got their PR after 1, 2 or 3 months. IMAGINE. We are the only ones who are struggling. Good luck mate!
