Applying for bridging open work permit - help!!

Hi guys. My express entry is being reviewed and I'm waiting for final decision.
Meanwhile my work permit will be expired on Aug 01 so I tried to apply for bridging open work permit via online.
I logged in to my cic account and tried to get personal reference code before applying for the permit but the server kept crashing. I've done this almost a week and now I'm really tired and thinking of doing by mail.
It will take longer doing by online and I heard I cannot leave Canada during the process. So before I do it by mail, I just wanna double check if I'm doing something wrong or there is any other people having the same issue like me.

Try clearing your cookies, using another browser, or using another computer. I highly doubt that IRCC servers have been down for a week.

Hi Friends,
I am facing similar issue as above (IANJUNG), my PR profile submitted 2 weeks back, current visa expires on 20th August, my application to Extend the current work permit is also in progress, meanwhile I wanted to submit my Bridge Open Work Permit to qualify to work at any place. My query is, is it ok to apply for PR , Work Permit Extension and BOWP all at the same time, will CIC get confused by seeing three application under my name?

Use a different Computer or browser; CIC servers are working fine

So why are you applying for two work permits at the same time? You have to cancel your extension application and apply for BOWP or contact CIC and ask if they could change the type of application under processing and remember never send similar applications at the same time.
