Hello Forum members,

I have received ITA at end of June 2017 and one of my friends helped me to fill up the profile. But as I started to check the fill up E-APR i found my friend mistakenly put wrong Office name and address in work history section. As far I know I can't change the PRE ITA profile as it is locked and information should be accurate and same in POST ITA profile too. I am wondering if I change it in E-APR application it can be treated as misrepresentation by Case officer or I should decline my invitation, edit my PRE ITA profile and wait for another draw. My CRS is 462.

Thank you.

You can change your post-ITA profile. Make the change, and mention it in your LOE. This is not changing your points in any way, so it will not matter. Even if it did change your points, as long as you remain above the cutoff for your round of invitations, you're fine.

For a simple error like this you should not worry. Just correct it and tell the officer in your LOE what happened (I recommend not mentioning your friend - say you made a mistake while filling out the form)

Thnak you so much. Actually I declined the invitation, edited my EE profile and waiting for next draw. One quick question as I edited my EE profile by any chance will CIC cross check my previous EE profile to this profile and ask reason for declining the invitation? Some one told me to delete the profile and make a new profile so that CIC won't have your past records in their hand. Is it true?

No, they will not do that. You're overthinking it, just relax and accept the next ITA. Declining an invitation is not a problem.
