Gents -

any clue when the EOI will open for individuals without job offers? Thanks.
Not really. But the word will spread the minute they do.

Hi,

My wife and I are planning to enter NB for 2 weeks and go back to our country to sort some issues. My question is when should my children enter NB? Is there a deadline for them to enter? or is it based on their medical? (which is done January 2017) or should they take another medical before they can enter in April-May 2018?

Appreciate your advise in this regard.

Thanks in advance!

Your children visa will expire when your medical expires! So, it is advisable to land together. Also you should arrange where to receive the PR cards in Canada which takes around 45 days to be sent to you. You require a valid PR card or a valid Permanent Resident Travel Document (PRTD) to re-enter Canada by commercial carrier.
If you gave Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) an address in Canada, but you left before the card was mailed to you, you can ask your family or friends who live at that address to send you the PR card. You can then re-enter Canada with your PR Card.

If you have arrived and have not yet given IRCC a mailing address, and you left Canada, you should apply for a Travel Document (Permanent Resident Abroad) before you try to re-enter Canada. This application must be submitted to a Canadian visa office abroad.

This Travel Document can only be used once. You are not guaranteed to get the Travel Document, if you apply. It is up to the officer at the visa office to decide if you will get it or not. For further details visit here

Thank you for the response Pascal.

But what if the medical expired, do you have any idea what should have to be done?

No, I don't really know.

Hi Kim, apparently online session is not enough to apply
thank you, that's sad. :(
maybe i'll try the EELMS third priority, once it opens. I couldn't find anyone here in this forum who got an ITA thru this stream.

Hi Pascal,

My status for Background check July 6, 2017: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Do you have any idea how long will it take? I noticed your timeline after BGC you got your PPR in just a week. We already reached 6 months last July 17, 2017. I am worried.

Appreciate your opinion.

Thank you.

Anyone else getting a message on the livingnb page? Suggests their updating or maybe just taking out the old dates........possibly spotted the spelling mistakes too?!

Start accepting EOIs again!
