I have the same question about changing one year to a two year visa. Let's me know if you find out something.
No idea about that but i guess you can apply for study permit extension from within canada.
Where is your application being processed and on which you submitted your file ?
it happens when you are not putting the exact value.
put your surname as on passport and do not leave space after that or anything you write.
put the exact date of start of and end of program and if specific date is not given then just enter the month and year
do not enter country of birth
