visa time process after file received in delhi

hiii.

please anyone know me how long does it take after file received in delhi ambassy i got email on 9th of may 2017 that my file received in delhi & submitted medical report tooo and my husband submitted the MP letter also so its seem 2 months no any update we received from delhi embassy... so please help me out how much time does its take to get approval or visa... still awaiting for passport submission

What was the mp letter for?
You submitted the medical before they asked for it? Did you also submit a pcc?
Anyhow you should go to the NDVO thread you should find your answers there.

Hmmm mp letter for just to fastest the process bcz someone of my husband frnd advice to submit the mp letter thats why my husband submitted and yes i have submitted everything pcc and medical report too whenever they asked then only we submitted the documents....and pls know me what is NDVO bcz m new member not no much of these site

An mp cannot make anything go faster. Faster than 2 months? You should only get them involved when you waited beyond normal processing times.
NDVO is a thread on here for ppl who have applied thru New Delhi.
2 months and half for a visa is super fast in my opinion. This is a family class visa?

My application's processing started 2 and half months ago too and we're hoping to hear something this or next month too as the process has gotten faster. That being said, 2 n 1/2 months ago my file & the OP's file reached Delhi. We didn't apply 2 months ago. We applied 5 months ago.

I just want to know when u had applied your husband file and when u received the email that ur husband file received in delhi for further verficition because my husband was apllied in end of jan 2017 its mean we say 1 st week ok feb2017 and we received email on 24th april 2017 that my file had been forwarded to delhi offc for further verification and 9th of may thet received my file....its almost 2 1/2 months passed yesterday my husband went to MP offc to check the status so they email him that your wife file still in process and no update and its take 16 months to process (The update on your file as of today, shows there is no update. File is in process and the processing time can take 16 months and a little more) dey email dis... so now m confused dear is it take 16 months bcz as u said that end of july or August we will hear something but they r sayig different pls revert

I applied on feb. 28th and NDVO started processing my application on May 8th. If you applied with the new package the process can't exceed12 months. I don't know where they got the 16 months from. Looking at other people's timeline, the average is 6 months. So that's why I said expect something in July or August.
