It varies, but as soon as sponsor's ECAS changed to "In process", you should have it in a couple of days

they recieved my pcc and schedual a in 21st june but so far ecas ...doesnt change in prosess

Did they already add them ? It takes around 2-3 weeks approx but it could be 4. Just wait this week or call to CIC.

I did not get a medical request yet, possibly because they havent received my PCC and Schedule A yet, which i will upload tomorrow. are you having problems getting an appoint for the medical within 30 days? What country are you applying from?

Yeah my PA is from Germany and there is nothing available until August. Just making us worried because we've received no reply back when we messaged them last week about it. Not sure when we should start worrying legit about if they know or not.

Oh well that sucks, but they do say you can do your medical in any country as long as the doctor is designated by CIC. We have one here in the Netherlands in Amsterdam, might be an option if its not too far from where your PA lives in Germany and if they have availibility.

My gc cic account says that they are processing my application ever since I have been able to link my account (more than one week). But ECAS does not say anything as such, just says application received. Is this just a general one for everyone?

Hello..good day every one!..im also a MAY applicant..i send my app last may 19 and recieved it may 24th..unfortunately my documents was returned..CIC return it dated july 7 and i recieved it july 16..cic is asking to include a representative form imm 5476...on the checklist though imm 5476 is not mandatory..any advice guys??should we need again to renew again all the forms?..thank you...

I didnt use that form...just make sure that if you fill out the forms, if it's PA's info, then put PA. if sponsor's, so be it.

Who did you have it? IOM? I would check with IOM first before reaching out to CIC

Just an update guys. PA did the medical on Jul/15/2017 and the application is in process as of Jul/18/2017.

The medical was requested on Jun/19/2017 but due to travelling of PA it was not done until Jul/15/2017.


Hoping to have background check changed to in process as well.

Submitted May/9/2017

Medical request: Jun/19/2017

Schedule A and Passport size photo replacement requested: Jun/21/2017


Additional: PA passport was expiring so we submitted new copy and PCC through IRCC webform voluntary.
